My Story
I was born in Swansea and grew up on the Gower Peninsula, where I developed a deep appreciation for the coast, sailing, and long days on the beach. That environment, with its mix of adventure and calm, helped shape my approach to life and work; grounded, disciplined, and always moving forward.
After earning a degree in Business Finance from Swansea University, I began my accountancy career in 2010 at a top 15 firm in Cardiff. Over the next seven years, I gained broad experience in audit and tax compliance, working with businesses exceeding £500m in turnover.
I later joined a practice in Bridgend, where I focused on commercial and tax advisory work, guiding clients through complex legislation with practical, commercially relevant solutions.
I founded JMT Chartered Accountants to offer tailored, strategic support that helps business owners grow with confidence and clarity.
